Getting Started and What to Expect

From there, it’s best to get actual samples from our showroom to take home.When in doubt, feel free to consult with ‘Sam the Man’ or one of our other Residential Floors professionals who can assist you. A few details on what to expect:
- A Residential Floors Estimator will meet you at your home to measure, make any field recommendations, and will provide you with an inclusive written estimate and a detailed plan of the installation.
- Wood, being an environmentally (humidity) sensitive product will have to be delivered and stored in the area to which it is going to be installed in order to acclimate or become stable to the natural environment, typically, 5-7 days.
- On the day of installation, our highly skilled tradesmen will remove the existing flooring (if required) and properly prepare the surface for an optimal installation. They will install the floor to our specific high standards.
- If the floor is pre-finished, the installer will sweep and vacuum the floor so that you can begin enjoying your new floor immediately.
